I LOVE taking pictures

I've pretty much taking most of the pictures on this web site (there are some exceptions and they are noted or should be noted on the web site).

Here are some pictures I've taken:

2008 Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival - This turned out to be a very beautiful (but a little warm) weekend. The Sumo Wrestlers did 2 demonstrations on Sunday (4/27/08).

2007 Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival - They had 2 Sumo Wrestling performances. The World Sumo Champion was part of the performance. At the end, they had some children go up to wrestle with the Sumo Wrestlers. It was finally a beautiful weekend. I only took pictures of the first day (April 28, 2007).

2006 Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival - This year they had 2 Sumo Wrestling performances. It was a lot of fun. They also had some children that went up to wrestle with the Sumo Wrestlers. It started out a little cold but the day ended up warm and sunny. I only took pictures of the first day (April 29, 2006).

2005 Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival - This year it was a little overcast and some scattered rains but the event still went on. Though attendance was down, people enjoyed watching the cultural performances and learning some origami and brush painting. Remember, it's around the end of April when this happens in Cuprtino, so go next year. OK!

2004 Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival - This festival is a fund raising event for the Cupertino/Toyokawa Sister City program. This is the first year I was asked to take pictures which they use some of them on their web site. But I've posted all of them here. It's usually held towards the end of April.

2004 Tule Lake Pigrimage - Every other year there is a pilgrimage to the Tule Lake Internment Camp. In 2004, I was able to go. I took pictures (of course) of the people, events and landscape. You can visit the Tule Lake Committee's web site to learn more about the pilgrimage and sign up for the next one (in 2006).

2003 Japan Trip - I went as part of the Cupertino Sister City Adult Delegation. We spent a few days in Toyokawa (Cupertino's Sister City in Japan) and then a group of us spent another 5 days or so touring the lower part of Japan. Some cities we visited: Kobe, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara. It was a wonderful experince which I would love to do again!!

Sunset Pictures - Here are some pictures showing the beauty of sunsets!!
