What does Ginger do for a living?

I do a lot of different things. I've listed some of the things I do to survive in this materialistic world:

You know, I am shocked (after reading this) that I have not put down I love to bowl. (of course I love to bowl now since I've been doing pretty good). Check out the "What's Happening" tab and read up on my newest high game during a tournament (when bowling well really counts). (added 2/28/05)

0) OK.. now my biggest thing I LOVE to do is scrapbooking. I will be showing off ('cause I'm THAT vain) some of my scrapbook pages (the ones that I think look really good). If you'd like to send me some of yours, go for it. I'll make a scrapbooking section to show ideas and techniques. I'll even list some of the places I buy my things. Since CA might be raising their sales tax, I'm trying to buy a lot of my stuff on line (a lot cheaper even with shipping). Some of the places I buy on line are:

Basic Bear - This is a cool web site that sells die cuts of bears and stuff and you put the bears together in different poses. It's really cute. When I put up some fo the stuff I've done, you will see the bears.

STAMP ATTIC - they have great service and a fast turn around. They are located in Utah so shipping doesn't take FOREVER and at this time there isn't any sales tax.

Quickutz - This is a really cool tool but it costs a lot. But you can buy a lot of these items on Ebay for Stamp Attic for a little less than retail (which is really nice).

Coluzzle - This is an awsome product too. You can follow this linke to go to this one shopping area that has lower than retail prices on line. You can also go to: Stampers Paradise for coluzzle stuff. They are located in Florida so your shippment might take a little longer (just an FYI).

If you'd like to get together for scrapbooking days (and to share product resources), just let me know. I've been helping a few friends out with their scrapbooks because I know how hard it is to start (especially if you do not have anything but paper). Hope to hear from you soon.

Take Care!!

1) Own my own business (Gaylonn Designs)- designing web sites, flyers/brochures/newsletters, posters....

Check out some of the web sites I've designed:

This one
www.spiritalumni.com
www.knkmfg.com
www.gaylonn.com
www.retiredsjpoff.org
www.tulelake.org
www.fiercefirststep.com
Community Family Services (working on)
Shundotties
San Jose NOC

www.ellistroop.com - My dad's side of the family (still working on it)

2) I had a contract with Agilent Technologies to do the following: working with electronic files (PostScript and PDF's), helping file submitters troubleshoot their PDF and PostScript files.... but, I don't any more.

3) I'm still currently contracting with another dept. in Agilent to do layout and design.

4) One more thing. I worked part time at a ceramic store. I also created their web site but because of "How I quit (and not that I quit" they discontinued my services the address is: www.shesceramics.com. E-mail me if you want the details for why I quit the way I did. I'd like to know if I did the right thing quitting the way I did.

5) Working at the ceramic store gave me this great idea:

www.paintedceramics.com
www.ceramicshandpainted.com

They are pointing to the same web site. I just wanted a few different names. I'm going to try and sell some pieces. I'm having fun painting ceramics. Maybe I can make a few extra bucks.

6) I love taking pictures.

Sunset Pictures - I'll put more here when I find them.
Pictures of Flowers and various things - will add someday
Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival Pictures 2004 2005
Other pictures can be viewed under the "Family Stuff" button at the top

7) I have another hobby. I like doing picture collages. I created scrapbook pages on my pets and had them printed like regular photographs (saves on printing costs). It's great because you can take several pictures and put them on one image.

If you'd like me to create pages like these for you, send me an e-mail. I have to charge a little for my time, but it will be worth your while.
